Terms and
Conditions
Ordering - All
orders that you place with Paperchain Wedding Stationery will be subject to
acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any award of gift
vouchers are subject to £100 minimum order, a minimum order value of £50
applies.
Supply of
information - Please ensure that information supplied for stationery is in
an electronic usable format and accurate to the best of your knowledge, to minimise
amendment and reproofing. Information for items needed on the day (Order of
Service, Menus, Place Name Cards, Table Plans, Table names/numbers) must be
signed off a minimum of 3 weeks before the event to guarantee the delivery of
the items in time for the event.
Proofs -
Proofs are sent via PDF on email unless specifically requested otherwise,
using the wording and layout agreed in your order - please note that colour on
screen can differ from printed colour and although colours are standardised
you should try to see hard samples using the exact colour you require before
signing the stationery off for print. Any changes required to the wording must
be emailed or phoned through and the proof rechecked and signed off. The first
two proofs per item are free, if subsequent changes are made then any
additional proofs are charged at £4.99 each.
Signing off -
Paperchain requires that, once happy with the proofs, you email to confirm that you are happy with all
elements of the proof from start to finish and are happy for the entire job to
be printed. Printing can occur as quickly as the same day as sign off, so any
subsequent corrections, not mentioned before sign off will result in the
additional/amended invitations be charged on top of the original order.
Designs -
All stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Paperchain Wedding
Stationery. All rights reserved. Due to the bespoke nature of the printing
small variations in colour may occur. You are responsible for ensuring that
you have permission to use any material (for example poems and hymns in your
Order of Service or photography/imagery on bespoke stationery) you ask us to
include in your stationery.
Timings -
Once we have received your order, we aim to get PDF proofs to you within five
working days. Once approved, your finished stationery will be delivered within
ten working days. These time-scales are at the outside and every effort is
made to get orders processed and sent as quickly as possible. Unfortunately,
these timings may change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will
always keep you updated on your order.
Prices -
The price includes the typesetting, proofs and printing. We do operate a
minimum order value of £50. A deposit of 50% is
required on placing your order. The payment of the deposit will be taken as acceptance
of the terms and conditions. The remaining amount will be invoiced with the
delivery of your order and must be paid in full 1 week before dispatch of the
stationery. If the order value if less than £100, then the full amount is
required upon placing the order. Any subsequent reorders for additional
stationery is subject to a £25 minimum order fee.
Delivery -
Delivery will be via Royal Mail Special Delivery next day by 1pm on all orders
except for table plans which are sent via Parcelforce 24 hr delivery to the UK
and Northern Ireland. The cost of delivery is £10 per parcel under 2kg and £20
over 2kg. A signature will be required on delivery to provide proof of
receipt. If you live locally and prefer to collect the order please contact
us. We must be notified of defective goods within seven working days or you
are not guaranteed a replacement.
Cancellation
- Cancellation of order will be subject to any costs incurred and the full
order will be charged if the order has been signed off and printed. Except in
cases of a manufacturing defect we do not accept returns of any items. We must be notified of defective goods within five working days.
Defective goods must be returned to us by recorded post. We will reimburse
postage costs. Upon receipt of defective goods we will contact the customer to
arrange a replacement or refund.
Force majeure
- Paperchain Wedding Stationery shall be under no liability if unable to
carry out any order for any reason beyond its reasonable control including
(without limiting the foregoing): Act of God; legislation; war; fire; flood;
drought; inadequacy or unsuitability of any instructions, electronic file or
other data or materials supplied by the customer; failure of power supply; or
owing to any inability to procure materials required for the completion of the
order.
